The Delivery Rider is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering goods to customers. This role ensures timely deliveries, accurate order handling, and excellent customer service while maintaining company standards and road safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick up and deliver items to customers in a timely and safe manner.
- Verify delivery information such as addresses and contact details before departure.
- Handle packages, food, or documents with care to prevent damage or loss.
- Collect payments or obtain customer signatures as required.
- Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules.
- Communicate with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers as needed.
- Perform routine checks and maintenance on assigned motorcycle (fuel, oil, tires, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Report delivery issues, delays, or accidents immediately to the supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness and good condition of the delivery vehicle.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Valid motorcycle driver’s license (e.g., License Restriction Code 1 or 2 in the Philippines).
- Proven experience as a delivery rider or similar role preferred.
- Good knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns.
- Excellent time management and customer service skills.
- Physically fit and able to lift moderate loads.
- Responsible, punctual, and trustworthy.
Working Conditions:
- Field-based position; exposure to various weather conditions.
- May require weekend or holiday shifts depending on operational needs.
- Must wear company uniform and comply with safety gear requirements.
