About the Role

We are looking for a proactive, organized, and detail-driven Junior Accounts Receivable Associate to manage billing, collections, and receivables accounting. The successful candidate should grasp Philippine bookkeeping standards, use QuickBooks (or a similar platform), and be comfortable working independently to meet targets and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and issue invoices, billing statements, and debit/credit memos using QuickBooks or the designated system
  • Record and post customer payments in the accounting system, reconcile accounts, and deposit/or reconcile bank receipts
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging, send reminders, follow up on overdue balances, and liaise with customers for collection
  • Reconcile AR accounts and resolve discrepancies or disputes (e.g. applying credits, investigating billing issues)
  • Work with sales, operations, and customer service teams to coordinate invoicing, approvals, and dispute resolution
  • Prepare monthly AR reports, forecasts, cash collection projections, and aging analyses
  • Assist in month-end closing tasks (e.g. AR accruals, cutoffs, revenue analysis)
  • Support audit requests by providing schedules, documentation, and explanations
  • Recommend improvements to the AR process to enhance efficiency and reduce delinquency

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or any business-related course preferred; non-graduates with strong bookkeeping/QuickBooks skills are also welcome to apply
  • Some prior experience (0–2 years) in accounts receivable, credit & collections, or accounting support
  • Understanding of Philippine bookkeeping & accounting standards
  • Proficient in QuickBooks (or similar accounting software)
  • Strong Excel skills for analyses, reporting, and reconciliations
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Able to work unsupervised, show initiative, and follow through to completion
  • Good interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skill
  • Honest, dependable, and detail-oriented

Preferred (but not mandatory): experience in credit risk assessment, understanding of VAT/withholding in Philippine context
