The Product Manager acts as the connective tissue between strategic goals and execution across departments. Operating within a matrix structure, this role manages cross-functional resources (Development, and Product Design) to ensure timely delivery of impactful products and features that meet customer and business objectives.
What You'll Do:
- Translate company OKRs and the Product Lead’s strategic direction into quarterly product roadmaps.
- Prioritize initiatives based on business impact, user insight, and technical feasibility.
- Define clear success metrics and ensure alignment with Experience (UX), Distribution (marketing funnels), and Infrastructure (systems scalability).
- Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and milestone tracking across functional teams.
- Remove blockers and ensure accountability through transparent communication between teams and leadership.
- Own end-to-end delivery of assigned features, ensuring on-time releases that meet quality standards.
- Manage trade-offs between scope, time, and quality — escalating decisions to the Product Lead when necessary.
- Collaborate with data teams to interpret funnel metrics, cohort retention, and user feedback.
- Turn qualitative insights (customer interviews, usability tests) and quantitative data (PostHog, Meta, Shopify, etc.) into actionable improvements.
- Present product learnings and performance reports to leadership for iteration planning.
- Ensure stakeholders (executives, marketing, and operations) have visibility into progress, risks, and dependencies.
- Document and communicate changes in scope, priorities, and timelines clearly.
What We're Looking For:
- 3–5 years of experience in Product Management or related fields (e.g., Project Management, Growth Ops, or Product Marketing).
- Experience working in a matrix or cross-functional team structure.
- Strong understanding of digital product lifecycles, from discovery to delivery.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., PostHog, GA4, Shopify Analytics) and sprint management tools (e.g., Linear, Jira, Notion).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong empathy for users; ability to balance user needs with business objectives.
Performance KPIs
- Delivery Rate: % of roadmap items delivered on time and within scope.
- Cross-functional Velocity: Average cycle time of cross-team initiatives.
- Feature Adoption: % of users engaging with new releases within first 30 days.
- Conversion/Retention Uplift: Improvement in core funnel metrics post-release.
- Stakeholder Satisfaction: Quarterly feedback from Product Lead and functional heads.
Success in This Role Looks Like
- Products launch smoothly across teams — design, and development move in sync.
- Stakeholders always know the “why” behind every feature or update.
- You make decisions backed by both user data and business goals.
- You free your Product Lead from micromanaging operations, focusing instead on strategic growth.
