Role Overview:

The Video Editor is responsible for editing short-form and long-form video content for social media. They bring scripts and raw footage to life with engaging edits, music, text overlays, and storytelling that resonates with the audience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube, and other platforms.
  • Add text overlays, transitions, and effects to boost engagement.
  • Collaborate with copywriters and creatives to align storytelling.
  • Maintain brand style and consistency across all video outputs.
  • Stay updated on editing trends and platform best practices.
  • Organize and manage video assets for easy access.

Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of experience in video editing for social platforms.
  • Proficiency in editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, or similar).
  • Strong sense of pacing, rhythm, and visual storytelling.
  • Creative and detail-oriented with a portfolio of past work.
  • Proficient use of ClickUp is a plus.
