Role Overview:
The Video Editor is responsible for editing short-form and long-form video content for social media. They bring scripts and raw footage to life with engaging edits, music, text overlays, and storytelling that resonates with the audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube, and other platforms.
- Add text overlays, transitions, and effects to boost engagement.
- Collaborate with copywriters and creatives to align storytelling.
- Maintain brand style and consistency across all video outputs.
- Stay updated on editing trends and platform best practices.
- Organize and manage video assets for easy access.
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in video editing for social platforms.
- Proficiency in editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, or similar).
- Strong sense of pacing, rhythm, and visual storytelling.
- Creative and detail-oriented with a portfolio of past work.
- Proficient use of ClickUp is a plus.
